We are looking for an experienced Partner Development Manager to ignite and nurture partnerships by identifying and recruiting new partners for long-term success as well as manage ongoing relationships with key strategic partners, including managed services providers, system integrators, software development agencies and resellers. Our ultimate goal is developing relationships that drive both customer adoption and new revenue.

Primary Focus Areas:

  • Identify, educate and recruit new strategic MSP, SI and Development partners to drive revenue growth.
  • Establish deep business and technical relationships with partners aligning Linode’s cloud platform with the customer's mission and the environment.
  • Working with Customer Success, enable and activate existing partners through training, enablement and joint selling.
  • Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development team to guide the direction of our product offerings based on partner feedback and needs.
  • Achieving, and exceeding, weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.)
  • Managing prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting in

What You Bring to the Role:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development and channel sales at a cloud services or high-tech/saas organization.
  • Ability to have a strategic conversation at the CXO level as well as technical conversations with software developers, devops and IT architects.
  • Passion for Service - a true sales professional that understands selling is serving and knows that by putting your customer first, your sales success will follow.
  • Proven Success - you hate to lose and hold yourself accountable to exceed your personal targets regardless of what your quota is
  • Data-driven - you understand what makes you and your customers successful and seeks to replicate
  • Come to work prepared and ready to make today better than yesterday. You’re not waiting for your manager or others to set the tone
  • Seek to communicate effectively in whichever channel your customer prefers (email, phone, video, social, chat, text, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of modern business applications and sales tools (GSuite, Slack, Salesforce, Tableau, Outreach,, DiscoverOrg, ZoomInfo, etc.)
  • Realize that life is short and does not take themselves too seriously; you seek to have fun and be a part of a community
  • A willingness to be a helpful, open-minded, and valuable team member
