Linode is looking for a passionate, highly-skilled Operations manager to build our Cloud Operations Center. The Operations Manager will be tasked with hiring and managing an operations center team. They will also be in charge of driving operational excellence, improving the detection of customer issues, managing incident response, and reducing mean time to resolution. Their job is to ensure uptime and stability for our cloud infrastructure across eleven globally distributed facilities.
To find success in this role, you are a natural problem solver - someone who lives to put out fires before they start. You have an eye for improving operational standards, policies, and procedures. A true leader with experience that likes to get their hands dirty. The ideal candidate will have general technical knowledge centered around technologies and infrastructure used at Linode.
